A sight to behold.
Sad confession: my first thought related to “butterfly” is that song by CrazyTown. Yeah, they were pretty much a one-hit wonder… that music video was pretty trippy, too. Very shoujo-ai, in a way. Damn, I’m old.

As the trees share their remorse

He stays by her side
A pillar amidst chaos
Her cherished haven
…Believe it or not, this one is about ducks. Seriously! These ducks have been coming here each Spring. Cute couple; must have been together for awhile. Wherever the lady goes, her mate is always right behind her. He’s always keeping watch, protecting her… it’s pretty sweet, [...]

The slightest movement
And my spine shivers with pain
Ripples become waves
Constant pain really sucks. At least I have some good tools to beat it down, but still… tools only go so far. Sometimes I feel like I’m just going mad from the pain, really.
(We’re all a little “mad” around here…)
