Apparently, a lot of retail stores will be offering incentives to spend your tax rebate at their establishment. For example, Sears will give you an extra $30 per $300 when you spend your entire tax rebate on a gift card. Now, what you would do with a $660 Sears gift card, I don’t know… but I guess it’s nice that folks are willing to give a little bit in order to draw in more consumers.
