I predict that Hillary Clinton will win Pennsylvania’s Democratic presidential primary.

Why?

Because Obama wasn’t too careful with his words. Politics must be a tough game. On any level, words can be difficult; they can be a blessing or curse, depending on the speaker and the manner in which the words themselves are woven together. I could say something like “a black hole will destroy the Earth” and have it interpreted in any number of ways by any number of readers. As a writer, I have to admit that I find this “word game” to be intriguing. Someday, I would love to write a speech or two for a political figure. Now that would be a challenge. Not only do you need to inspire and enthrall the public, you must also present yourself as a dynamic figure, a perfect candidate. You must choose your words carefully and be specific in your intentions.

Despite your best efforts, I’m sure a worthy opponent could manage to use anything against you in a good ol’ mud slinging campaign. But isn’t that part of the fun? The challenge?
