Make A Difference: TheHungerSite.com

I remember learning about The Hunger Site when I was still in high school. The site launched in June of 1999; it was created by an individual located in Indiana. The concept behind the site? Clicking on a button in order to eradicate world hunger. Really, it’s that simple. By clicking the aforementioned button, The Hunger Site would give funding (paid for by the site’s sponsors) to the United Nations World Food Programme. The site proved to be quite successful and soon it was too much for one man alone to manage. So, in 2000, The Hunger Site was sold to GreaterGood.com. Today, The Hunger Site continues to operate as part of the GreaterGood Network family of websites.

Think about it: all you need to do is visit this site once a day and click on a button. That’s surely worth a moment of your time, now isn’t it?
