You know, I vaguely remember the old Airborne advertisements, but I was still a little surprised to learn about this. I suppose I just never took the original ads that seriously. A cure for the common cold? Come on- there’s no such thing. Still, I enjoyed the herbal supplements provided by the Airborne products. All things considered, I would say that the products worked pretty well at maintaining my good health throughout the winter months. I suppose this is just another way of warning product manufacturers not to exaggerate in their advertising- even if, perhaps, the advertisements were supposed to be taken as tongue-in-cheek statements.

Unless you have receipts for all of your Airborne purchases between 05/2001-11/07, you’ll only be reimbursed for up to six boxes of the product. Each product will be reimbursed based on its general price at retail locations: $6.99 per box of the original Airborne Health formula; $2.75 per box of the Airborne Gummi product; $10.50 per box of the Airborne Seasonal product; and $6.99 per box of any other Airborne product.

Claims can be submitted online or via US Postal Mail. All claim forms need to be submitted by September 15, 2008.
